Conor Hennigan - President Kerry Branch IHF with Ger O'Sullivan - Cork Bar and Catering, Bernadette Randles - Dromhall Hotel and Declan Sheehan - Dawn Dairies at the Kerry Branch Irish Hotels Federation Annual Christmas Ball in The Malton, Killarney.

The Kerry Branch of the Irish Hotel’s Federation recently hosted their Annual Christmas Ball. 350 guests attended a wonderful evening at The Malton Hotel, Killarney. Guests on the night included Sean Kelly MEP, Michael Healy Rae TD, Arthur Spring TD, Senator Paul Coughlan & the Mayor of Killarney, Cllr Paddy Courtney. The branch were delighted to be joined by both IHF President Michael Vaughan & IHF Chief Executive Tom Fenn. 
 
In his speech on the night, Kerry Branch Chairman Conor Hennigan acknowledged the tremendous support the Kerry Branch received from Minister Jimmy Deenihan and all the TD’s & Senators in Kerry in retaining the 9% VAT rate. The chairman also acknowledged the tremendous contribution of the town councils in Kerry to Tourism development over the years and regretted that the abolition  of town councils is to proceed in 2014. 
 
Guests were treated to a sumptuous 6 course meal and wines prepared by the team at The Malton, Killarney. A wonderful night of entertainment followed and hoteliers danced in to the early hours.
