The Gleneagle Group, based in Killarney, has announced the appointment of Mark Egan to the role of Director of Corporate and Leisure Events.

As Director of Corporate and Leisure Events, Mark is responsible for the production and logistical management of large scale national and international events and conferences.

Mark has over twenty years experience in the events industry and joins the team at The Gleneagle Group having previously worked as Events Director with MCI Dublin – which is part of the larger MCI group, the Switzerland-based events agency which operates in over thirty countries and delivers projects for clients all over the world.

Mark is no stranger to The Gleneagle having worked with the group on a number of large scale events in the past including Google’s EMEA Conference, three IBM conferences and Cook Medical’s 50th Anniversary Banquet. Mark also has vast experience in the entertainment industry having worked on major projects such as Arthur’s Day.
