The O’Callaghan Hotels group has donated €5,000 to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

Temple Street Hospital provides world class care to Ireland’s sickest children and each year it needs more and more money to upgrade its equipment, fund life changing research and mend its broken wards. Fundraising is also needed for Ward Development, Vital Life Saving Equipment with some machines costing over 1 million to purchase, Medical Research and Parent and Patient Services. It is an ongoing challenge for Temple Street Hospital to raise funds that are desperately needed in order to care and save children’s lives.
O’Callaghan Hotels will also be taking part in the annual Charity Bake off again this year, last year over 200 cakes were baked at the group’s four Dublin hotels and were purchased by members of the public, the group successfully raised over €2000. Temple Street’s Charity Bake Off will be taking place on Friday 17th April.

As well as the Bake Off, employees of the O’Callaghan Group will again be taking part in ‘Cycle 4 Life’ Temple Street charity event which is taking place in Dunboyne, Co Meath on Saturday 9th May. Last year 9 employees from the Hotel Group took to their bikes and cycled a gruelling 55km to raise money for the charity and again successfully raised over €2000 for the children’s hospital. This year the staff at the hotel group plan on increasing the challenging to 105km, and hope to have more employees take part in the charity event!

The O’Callaghan Hotel Group includes four hotels in Dublin city, Alexander Hotel, Davenport Hotel, Mont Clare Hotel and Stephen’s Green Hotel.
