We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Dooley's Hotel, Waterford. 

This is a great opportunity for a talented chef de partie to join a strong team and develop your career.   As Chef de Partie you will need to demonstrate you have the ability to work in a high volume, established catering business, and bring a wide range of skills to ensure that food goes out on time and to the high standards we expect.                                                       

Directly supervise all front office and reservation personnel and ensure proper completion of all front office duties.  Direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas.  Prepare monthly reports for front office department.

Due to expanding business we have an opening for an experienced Sous Chef.

This position would suit a Senior Chef looking to make the next step in their career.

The suitable candidate must have at least 2 years experience as a Senior Chef in a busy hotel kitchen environment.

Overall job purpose:        

To prepare, cook and present for service as required, foodstuffs and sauces to the standards of the establishment.

Main Duties:

·         To prepare various dishes and foodstuffs as required for service in banqueting areas or other food outlets.

·         To assist in other kitchen departments as when required.

·         To operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognised techniques.

·         To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene.
