Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Required, Sligo

An exciting opportunity has arisen at this busy and vibrant 4 Star hotel for an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our energetic and ambitious team

Candidate Requirements:

• The successful candidates will have previous and solid experience in food and bar service in a  busy 4* or 5 * establishment.
• Duties will includes service of food and beverage in a busy restaurant, café - bar and banqueting department, with capacity of up to 300 people
• A high standard of customer care experience is essential with formal hotel/college training with excellent attention to and knowledge of service skills and customer care
• To ensure an efficient and friendly service to all guests
• To ensure customer satisfaction at all times
• To follow all health and safety procedures at all times, and ensure that rules and regulations are adhered to – HACCP, EHO requirements, mystery guest programme.
• Able to deliver a tight control of operating  equipment

·         Understanding of stock control and associated processes  in achieving challenging food and beverage GP %’s

·         Excellent knowledge of International food, wine and beverages.

·         Creative and innovative in food and beverage style of service/presentation

The successful candidates must have a professional and friendly approach and must be focused on providing excellent customer service.  They must be a team player and have the ability to multi task. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail as well as good communication and time keeping skills. A good level of spoken English is required.
