Corporate Sales Executive - 4* Dublin City Centre Hotel Reporting to : General Manager Responsible for : Assisting the General Manager and Director of Sales in promoting the Hotel facilities to prospective Guests/Clients and to constantly market the Hotel at all opportunities through Website, Social Media, Sales Calls, and Advertising. Accountabilities Operational • Maximising Hotel revenue and profitability from all market segments. • Effectively manage and co-ordinate sales enquiries, sales plans, databases, reports and site inspections. • Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis. • To achieve pre-set goals and targets including tele-calls and sales calls as agreed with the general manager. • To make face-to-face sales calls and to regularly meet key account contacts directly in line with agreed and set targets and maintain databases accordingly. • To ensure the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts. • Maximising and promoting the profit opportunities of all sales outlets in the property, including food and beverage outlets. • Ensure consistency and growth in productivity by providing excellent service to our existing clients and exploring and converting new accounts. • Assist in achieving and surpassing revenue forecast and monitoring revenue development with group revenue manager. • Assist in the development and organisation of special events, promotions and creation of packages with the General Manager and Operational Heads of Department. • To attend company social and promotional functions, maintaining a high profile with current and prospective clients. Planning and Organizing • To work in cooperation with all other hotel departments. • To ascertain and follow up on client feedback, identify and address potential service shortfalls. • To participate in creating, reviewing and regularly updating sales plans. • Weekly & Monthly monitoring of GDS business. • Ensuring client accounts are charged accurately & invoices are issued timely. • Assist in the production of hotel printed promotional material including brochures, flyers, special offers, posters, tent cards etc. as required, always following brand guidelines • To work on developing and enhancing the hotel website and social media. • Maintain an up to date client database for e-marketing purposes. General • To interact and communicate with clients, guests and colleagues in a courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times. • To be fully aware of all company policies and procedures. • To be consistently well groomed and professional in appearance and presentation at all times. • To monitor all display of sales and marketing information and ensure information is accurate at all times. • To be innovative – developing and implementing new ideas. • To protect and promote the image of the property at all times, both in print and verbally.

Required Skills: 
Skill required: • Fluent English and management experience preferably in a 4* hotel environment within Ireland. • Target and goal achievement driven • Strong IT skills, including microsoft office. • Experience in web content management a distinct advantage. • High level of customer service experience. • Excellent presentation and communication skills. • Strong administration and attention to detail is essential. • Full & Clean Driving license essential with own transport.
