The role involves the day to day overseeing of operations in the hotel aswell as all conference and banqueting business in the hotel. Customer service is a major part of the role so the applicant be outgoing and friendly and be willing to deal with all guest enquiries.

It is a brillant opportunity for an individual who is seeing a junior management position.

The position included shift and weekend work.

The main duties include:

  • Carry out all management duties to the agreed standard
  • To oversee the smooth running of all departments while on management shift.
  • To assist in the F&B area within the hotel
  • The management of the Conference and Banqueting operational function within the hotel
  • To be responsible for handling guest queries and complaints as they arise
  • To ensure a high level of Customer Service at all times
  • To assist in staff training
  • To follow all procedures

 

 

Required Qualifications: 
A third level hotel management qualification
Required Skills: 
2 Years hotel experience - not essentially at management level. Conference and Banqueting experience Fluent written and spoken English Be a team player who has the ability to work on their own initiative Have good organisational skills Be flexible
