The Abbey Court hotel is situated in the historic town of Nenagh, North Tipperary. The hotel has 82 tastefully decorated bedrooms, Holiday Lodges with 100 4 Star deluxe Bedrooms, exclusive F&B facilities including The Abbots Steak House, Our Busy Carvery and First class banquet trade.

We are looking for a Sous Chef who likes to work in a busy atmosphere where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will have fluent spoken & written English as accuracy under pressure is an absolute must.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have the ability to run all sections of the kitchen whether this is carvery, banquet, restaurant etc.
  • Be talented, enthusiastic and vibrant in your outlook and in your cooking. 
  • Be passionate about food, cooking and your working environment.
  • Have knowledge of all standard procedures & policies pertaining to good preparation, receiving storage & sanitation.
  • Hold references from previous employment---> Essential.
  • Have full knowledge of all updated HACCP procedures.
  • Have high standards in your cooking and expect high standards from all around you.
  • Deputize for the Executive Chef in his absence.

Salary is appropriate to experience and the role will probably require you to relocate.
