The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) welcomes the announcement today that the 2026 Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor, Co Limerick. The IHF states that the decision by Minister Shane Ross and the Government to support the hosting of the event will provide Ireland with a great opportunity to shine as a golfing destination on the world stage, providing an economic boost for tourism businesses including hotels and guesthouses.
Michael Lennon, President of the IHF says that tourism businesses in the region fully support the event and will ensure a truly memorable experience for all visitors attending it. Mr Lennon states:  “The Ryder Cup attracts phenomenal interest among golfing fans and spectators across the globe and will see Ireland showcased to a global audience. Today’s decision tops off a wonderful week for golf on the island of Ireland following the success of The Open.”
