Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) at The Academy, Cliff at Lyons



The Academy, situated at the stunning Cliff at Lyons estate in Kildare, is now enroling for City & Guilds certified Professional Cookery courses for 2016/2017. The courses are suitable for school leavers with a passion for the culinary arts, amateur chefs and those who are already working in the hospitality industry. Further advanced courses will commence in late 2017.

The Academy will offer a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) 8065-02. The course is designed to be intimate and thoroughly hands on, with only 12 places on offer, ensuring the quality of learning is first class. Successful graduates will be well positioned for working in 5 star hotels and award winning restaurants. Lead by Martin Potts and Patrick Flanagan of Synergy Pro Chef, the 12-week course will be based at Cliff at Lyons in Celbridge, Kildare and fees are normally €5,950 with a special discounted rate of €5,500 for IHF members.

Materials supplied include uniform, workbooks and knife set. This is a non-residential course.
