The Glasshouse, located on the Garavogue River in the heart of bustling Sligo town is looking for Chef de Partie for our award-winning "The Kitchen" Restaurant.


Under the guidance of our Executive Chef, the winner of many major awards nationally and a member of Irish Culinary Team, the successful candidate will have a wonderful opportunity to improve their culinary and kitchen management skills.

Delivering high volume, top quality cuisine in our numerous food service outlets in line with company standards will be the key to this role.

The ideal candidate should have at least of 2 years previous experience in a high volume 4 star Hotel preferably. You must be hard working, have the ability to work under pressure and have excellent organisational skills. 


Key Responsibilities include:



·         Extensive knowledge of food handling

·         Thorough knowledge of HACCP Standards 

·         Knowledge in preparation of menu items in the standard set out in SOP's

·         Be creative, dynamic and energetic

·         Have knowledge in designing and preparing menu’s and to be very up to date with the latest cuisine

·         Be passionate in what you doing and be able to share the passion amongst your colleagues 

·         Committed, punctual and well groomed

·         Be a team player

·         Willing to learn

·         Fluent in English and a passion for good food is a must
