Markree Castle Hotel, a member of Manor House Hotels, requires an experienced chef to join their well established kitchen team in a busy but friendly hotel environment. The ideal candidate has a relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role in a 4 star hotel kitchen. 
Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring correct preparation, cooking and presentation of all foods.
• Giving an efficient smooth and quick service, and maintaining principles set by the Head Chef for correct presentation.
• Storing food requisition in correct manner so they may be kept in prime condition.
• Keeping all cooking utensils in a clean and fit hygienic condition.
• Ensuring all work surfaces and places of work are left clean and tidy when on duty.
• Using all equipment correctly and economically.
• To ensure a good working relationship with colleagues to help ensure the objectives in relation to food profit percentage as laid down by the company.
• Keeping personal hygiene, health & safety conditions as laid down in the regulations including all HACCP based processes.
• Keeping uniform clean and tidy to complete a clean and smart appearance.
• To be aware of the fire regulations as stipulated by the hotel.
• Any other duties as designated by the Head Chef or Management.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
