The Hotel:

The Person:
We are looking to recruit a peron who  passionate about people, standards, customer service and has excellent analyitical skills and knowledge of revenue and budgets
The successful candidate will:
  • Have previous experience in a similiar role in a 4 / 5 star large  branded hotel
  • Have excellent customer care skills and attention to detail
  • Have knowledge of budgets, reservations and yield management systems
  • Have excellent attention to detail in maximising revenues and sales for the hotel
  • Be knowledgeable of Opera, branded hotel revenue systems and distrbution systems
  • Have knowledge of competitor sales and revenue campaigns in relation to front office
  • Have excellent people management skills as the person will manage both reception and reservations teams
  • Have excellent financial skills to help maximise rooms revenue
  • Have experience in compiling yearly budgets, pick up reports  and weekly forecasts for rooms revenue
  • Have excellent communication skills in presenting financial reports
  • Have excellent sales skills in identifying up selling opportunities to maximise revenue at reception
  • Have excellent knowledge of managing  all reservation distribution channels
  • Compile the weekly pick up and monthly forecast report
  • Be hands on operationaly at reception when needed to support the team at reception.
  • Train,  mentor and supervise the front office team on a day  to day basis ensuring brand compliance and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications: 
Degree / diploma in hositality management - Certificate in Revenue management - Fully trained in Opera
