Front Office Manager


The Front Office Manager role is to manage and co-ordinate the Welcome, Concierge and Night teams to ensure seamless operations and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Teamwork, flexibility & 5 star professional standards are paramount to Dylan Hotel’s operations.

Responsibilities Include
• Rostering of departments in line with forecasted revenue & budgets
• Monitoring the departments productivity & professionalism to ensure hotel standards are met
• Provide training and development for each department, based on the hotel’s training requirements & their individual         needs.
• Provide feedback to General Manager on areas for improvement
• Participate in management meetings & conduct department meetings to ensure smooth communication throughout
• Ensure Night Audit is correct & liaise with Accounts on any revenue or billing issues. 
• Work closely with Sales, Reservations & Revenue to ensure maximum revenue is achieved for the hotel
• Oversee & manage the daily communication to all departments of the hotel client’s requests

The Ideal Candidate 
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the hotel industry, a positive approach along with a passion for people, luxury services & excellent customer relations.  

They will also need:- 
• At least 1 years’ experience in a 4/5* hotel  in a similar role
• High levels of motivation, enthusiasm and an innovative approach, flexibility in relation to shifts. 
• Full, clean driving licence
• Knowledge of Opera would be an advantage
• A natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service 
• Excellent computer skills 
• Good team player with a flexible and cooperative attitude 
• Fluency in English both written and oral
