Junior Sous Chef

Located in Dublin City Centre, Dylan is a 5 star boutique Hotel which resonates as the ultimate in style and luxury.  Dylan is bright, vibrant and fun, characteristics which sing throughout the design & style of the hotel and the responsive, personality-driven team.   

We now have an exciting opportunity to work as a Junior Sous Chef, with a team of talented chefs. Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie (min 2 years) in a 5 star hotel or similar upmarket kitchen is essential. 

Attention to detail & organisational skills are key requirements for this position. Applicants must have HACCAP knowledge.

Applicants will have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, and will enjoy rising to the challenge in this very dynamic and rewarding position.  Applicants will possess an excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate fluidly with co-workers in a fast paced environment. 

The responsibilities of the position are as follows: 


• Ensures the highest food quality appropriate to the market by assisting the Head Chef / Sous Chef in all areas   of kitchen operations
• Ensures proper staffing and adequate supplies for all stations including working and manning a station
• Supervises the proper set-up of each item on menus and insures their readiness
• Oversees the seasonings, portions, and appearance of food service in the operation
• Encourages increased communication between kitchen production and service staff

Shift work and flexibility is required in this position.
