ob Title: Kids Club Manager

Reporting to: Sales Director/Manager

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Kids Club Manager in the four-star Glenroyal Hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Leading a children’s club team to create a professional and safe environment in which to deliver a children’s club programme

• Organise rosters in line with skills and business needs

• Lead a team and provide assistance to all children during kid’s club
• Train, motivate and appraise the Kids club team to ensure the highest levels of service.
• Develop positive working relationships with all departments.
• Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all times.

Personal Specification

Qualifications and Experience required

• First Aid certificate (or intention to obtain)
• Will be Garda Vetted if offered position
• Previous experience of working with children in an activity environment.
• Experience running an extensive children’s club programme and managing a team.
• Previous responsibility for safety standards.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Approachable, welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Self-motivated.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

• Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and age appropriate children’s club activities.
• Skilled at creating and organising a multifaceted children’s club activity programme.
• Extensive knowledge of the current trends in other children’s club programme.
• knowledge of current child protection policies.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management, and other staff.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team and maintain effective working relationships.

Part Time Position: Kids Club Manager – 16 hours per week and 40 hours per week school holidays to cover events and management of the kids club.
