Reservation & Revenue Manager, Maldron Hotel Wexford


The Maldron Hotel Wexford is , part of the Dalata Hotel Group, now the largest hotel group in Ireland which includes 12 Maldron Hotels and 21 partner hotels, we are currently recruiting for Reservation & Revenue  Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel group.

The Reservation & Revenue Manager will be responsible for:

Liaising with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions
Liaising with travel agents, the revenue manager and the rooms division manager
Assisting the sales manager in setting rates and packages
Maintaining the in-house reservations systems
Forecasting revenue streams
Maximising room revenue by analysing competitor pricing and the hotels pricing structure.
Ensuring all requests and correspondence are responded to in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordianting the management of 3rd party websites and ensuring rate parity.
Identifying and pursuing new business leads.
Conducting Revenue Meetings
Creating daily, weekly and monthly performance reports
Prepare and submit annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Develop, train and motivate the team.
Liase with the Reception as well as other department witin the Hotel.
Ensuring all standards and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times
Develop new and maintain current good relations with all agents and bookers
Overseing the maintaining the rooms sales and be responsible for maximizing revenue.

Required Qualifications: 
Hotel & Catering degree or similar and or Business studies
Required Skills: 
A strong background in Reservations & Revenue. A proven track record in managing Room Revenue and Sales strategy. Strong multitasking skills. Excellent IT skills Good knowledge of the Irish Hotel Sector Good experience and understanding of the turism trade Experience in Portfolio would be an advantage but not essential. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with good interpersonal skills
