In this challenging role the Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible formaximising the sales potential and achieving revenue budgets of the hotel from the following markets – Local & National Corporate, Meetings, Events & Leisure. Sourcing and winning new business and actively selling the image and services of the hotel Converting leads into sales Maintaining existing accounts and generating new business Conducting sales calls and site inspections Telemarketing 

 The candidate should be pro-active and energetic with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and the ability to execute effectively a focussed sales plan for the agreed market segments

 

Required Qualifications: 
Degree in Business & Finance with or Hotel and Catering with Sales & Marketing specialization or equivalent
Required Skills: 
The ideal candidate should possess: A strong background in Sales, Marketing & Revenue. A proven track record in managing Room Revenue and Sales strategy. Strong multitasking skills. Excellent IT skills Availability to promote the hotel and the group at trade fair and events Good knowledge of the Irish Hotel Sector Good experience and understanding of the tourism trade Experience in Portfolio would be an advantage but not essential.
