In today’s challenging times, it is more important than ever for the Guesthouse industry in Ireland to become proactive in targeting new and existing customers.
A study of the Guesthouse sector was carried out by Fáilte Ireland and the recommendations from this report have identified very important challenges and directions for the future of this sector.
An expert steering group was set up by Fáilte Ireland and the Irish Hotels Federation to review these findings and a plan of action has now been agreed. This action plan will be presented during a series of one day workshops and will address opportunities and solutions for the sector going forward.

- Understand the proposed new classification and standards system to support the Guesthouses of Ireland brand
- Identify Operational Management challenges: standards, innovation, reservations, staffing and customer relations
- Learn how to manage your website content & imagery
This workshop is subsidised for all Fáilte Ireland Registered Guest House operators and Irish Hotel Federation Guesthouse members.
