MAIN DUTIES:
Ø To ensure that all guests are served in a timely and efficiently manner.
Ø To anticipate the needs of all guests, e.g. condiments, more drinks, etc.
Ø To ensure that complaints are handled in an efficient, prompt, guest satisfying way and are always communicated to the F & B / C & B / Duty Manager.
Ø To have a thorough knowledge of menus, specials, pricing, any changes, etc.
Ø To take every care to ensure highest possible standard of service through staff training.
Ø To maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times with guests and staff alike.
Ø To ensure all stations are set up for service and thoroughly cleaned.
Ø To ensure all tables are completely set and all linen and napkins are clean with no stains or creases.
Ø To promote and encourage food and beverage sales at all times.
Ø To serve at table as required.
Ø To ensure minimum loss through breakage, waste & theft.
Ø To ensure that total honesty is shown at all times towards employer and guests by yourself and your staff.
Ø To maintain a responsible attitude towards all Company assets and general stock items in the department, and to ensure that all staff show a similar responsible attitude.
Ø To adhere to the liquor licensing laws and regulations.
Ø To ensure that the quality of product and quality of presentation is maintained at the highest possible standard at all times in the department.
Ø To ensure all Shift Reports are completed correctly & drops & floats counted correctly
Ø To participate in both internal and external training classes as required.
Ø To wear clean, suitable uniform and name badge at all times.
Ø To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
Ø Upkeep of the equal opportunities policy to ensure that there is a neutral working environment.
