Accommodation Supervisor

The Award Winning Westgrove Hotel requires an experienced Accommodation Supervisor

The Westgrove Hotel  & Conference Centre, Leisure Club and Spa Haven in Clane Co Kildare is a 96 bedroom modern property including 5 luxurious suites and 15 apartment type rooms and spacious lounges on each floor. We have two ballrooms, three boardrooms and two syndicates, two restaurants, three bars, a leisure club, gym and a Spa Haven.

The Accommodation Supervisor role will be responsible in the absence of the Accommodation Manager for the total presentation of the property in keeping with a four star grading from Failte Ireland.

Job Description:

• To ensure the guest receives an excellent standard of housekeeping.
• To ensure the team is guest focussed.
• The management and ordering of Linen and Towelling.
• Ordering of Guest Amenities, Cleaning Materials, Chemicals and Housekeeping Equipment.  
• The Management of the Housekeeping Team in the absence of the Accommodation Manager
• Recruiting, Developing , Training and motivating the Team.
• Enforcing the agreed Standards of Procedure.
• Ability to work under pressure during quick turnarounds.
• To be hands on and lead by example.
• Weekly Rostering and Payroll.
• Managing Maintenance Personnel
• Checking Rooms and All Front of House Areas and encouraging the system of self checking.
• Dealing with Suppliers.
• The Laundering of Sundry Item. The management of the in house laundry equipment.
• Introducing new systems and structures to keep up to date.

• Will have previous accommodation Supervisor experience in similar hotel.
