Inishbofin Arts Festival 2014

On the weekend of May 2 - 4 Inishbofin celebrates thirty seven years since the first ever Arts Festival was held on the Island. Set on the stunningly scenic and historic backdrop of Inishbofin, this Arts Festival is a colourful and eclectic mix of music, visual art, craft, heritage, dance, creative workshops and demonstrations, and many fun family activities.

 

The Inishbofin Arts Festival has a programme of quality arts events, exhibitions and activities that showcase the work of both local and visiting artists and engages with the wider arts scene for the cultural and social benefit of the community on Inishbofin.

 

The 2014 festival will include: exhibitions by local and visiting visual artists; a festival launch with local musicians and dancers; workshops for adults and children; theatre productions and more! These events will be alongside three larger scale music concerts to be held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
