A Cluster Training Manager for Hilton Worldwide Hotels Republic of Ireland takes full responsibility for the training function; promoting, delivering, designing and evaluating training and development for the Republic of Ireland hotels.

This is a specified purpose contract commencing 30th March 2015 for 8 months minimum.

The Cluster Training Manager is based at the HR Shared Services Office, Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 and is repsonsible for Hilton Dublin, Hilton Dublin Airport, Conrad Dublin and Doubletree by Hilton Dublin.
What will I be doing?
- Preparing & issuing a weekly training plan for each hotel & issue in advance
- Ensuring the Training Notice boards are visual & relevant
- Coordinating the and supporting Departmental Trainers
- Delivering the following mandatory training:
     * Fire safety
     * Food Hygiene
     * Disability awareness
- Coordinating Manual Handling with hotel instructors and ensuring it is delivered to every employee upon starting and all other team members every 3 years
- Delivering brand training initiatives as required
- Attending & actively participating at monthly ROI Human Resources Meeting
- Attending & actively participating at Cluster Training Manager Meetings (at UK location)
- Attending & making presentations as required at Head of Department or General Employee Meetings
- Ensuring all training records are maintained accurately & up-to-date. Ensuring all outstanding training & records are brought up to date
- Meeting with Cluster Human Resources Director on a weekly basis to discuss training
- Meet with GM of each hotel during week you are on-site to discuss training
- Use appropriate tools to conduct training needs analysis
- Promote usage of Hilton Worldwide University
- Use Hilton Worldwide University to record development courses and issue certificates
- Work with HoDs to ensure they deliver departmental training
- Prepare training materials in advance of training sessions
- Carry out any other reasonable request from CHRD
