The Club House Hotel Kilkenny require an experienced full time / part time Hotel Receptionist to join their front office team.

The Club House Hotel is one of Irelands longest established hotels, and is located in the heart of Kilkenny City Centre.  Having 35 guest bedrooms the position of hotel receptionist is a busy one.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking reservations for bedrooms, meetings and events
  • Operation of a switch board
  • Guest check in and check out
  • Operation of Hotsoft Front office System
  • Dealing with guest requests and complaints
  • Answering e-mails and managing booking engines
  • Balancing accounts on a daily basis
  • Cash handling
  • leasing with other departments to insure the smooth running of the hotel

 

The Ideal Candidate for this position must:

  • Have previous hotel reception experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills, be courteous, and offer a high standard of customer service at all times. 
  • Have experience with Hotsoft front office system or similar.
  • Be flexible and willing to work shifts and weekends
  • Have fluent English
  • Be able to work on own initiative
