Children’s Club Manager Job Description

Leading a children’s club team to create a professional and safe environment in which to deliver a

children’s club programme. Developing and coordinating the delivery of children’s club activities

in all weather condition according to agreed company standards, polices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of

customer service.

Create a safe environment for both staff and children to operate in.

Oversee the maintenance, repair and security of Amber Springs Hotel  equipment a

Organise a working rota taking into consideration qualifications and company set ratios.

Lead a team to set up, pack up, and proactively provide supervision and assistance to all children

each day.

Train, motivate and appraise the children’s club team to ensure the highest levels of service, and

coordinate and deliver a training programme assuming responsibility for the development of the

children’s club team.

Develop positive working relationships with all departments.

Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all

times.

Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by

your manager according to training you have been given.

 

 

Personal Specification

Qualifications and Experience required

First Aid certificate.

FETEC LEVEL 5

Garda Clearance

Previous experience of working with children in an activity environment.

Experience running a extensive children’s club programme and managing a team.

Previous responsibility for safety standards.

Previous customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and age appropriate children’s club activities.

Skilled at creating and organising a multifaceted children’s club activity programme.

Extensive knowledge of the current trends in other  children’s club programme.

knowledge of current child protection policies.

Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management, and other staff.

Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team and maintain effective working relationships.
