The Westlodge Hotel situated along The Wild Atlantic Way, is recruiting for an experienced senior duty manager. The Westlodge Hotel is a 3-star hotel, located in Bantry, Co. Cork. The hotel is currently transitioning during an exciting phase of refurbishments, nestled on 26 acres of landscaped mature gardens the ideal candidate with be hard working, a problem solver, approachable and motivational to lead day to day operations of all aspects of the hotel including events, weddings, corporate functions and more.

Responsibility –

Lead food & beverage team by training, recruiting & appraising staff

Manage day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines

Lead menu changes, ensuring hotel stays up to date with current market trends and achieving GP targets through a strategic purchasing plan

Ensuring the overall success of the hotel by maximising revenue and profit through focus on sales and management of costs

Deal effectively with customers and staff, be approachable in manner to deal with all queries from public and in house

Assisting with staff rosters for bar and restaurant
