Scope of the Job:


Under the guidance of the Spa Manager, ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the operation. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene within Spa.


Key Areas of Responsibilities


  1. Will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa, public areas including, reception, coffee dock, changing rooms, relaxation area and Thermal Suite.. These should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the Spa Manager and Health and Safety Standards.


  1. To be aware of all treatments offered and any promotions on offer at any given time.


  1. Assist with demonstrations/events as required.


  1. To always be punctual.


  1. To cover spa reception as and when required. To do so in a friendly and professional manner. Welcoming guests and showing them the facilities, taking booking for future appointments, answering telephone and e-mail enquires, responsibility for cash, credit card and voucher payments.


  1. Will be expected to aid therapists in setting up for treatments and clearing away after.


  1. Will be expected to ensure lockers are stocked with clean linen at all times and remove soiled linen.


  1. Courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times.


  1. To attend to guests on both the relaxation and waiting areas ensuring that they are comfortable as well as offering drinks.


  1. To perform any other duties deemed reasonable by management.


  1. To implement the hotels customer care policies at all times and to communicate hotel services to guests.


  1. To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, work colleagues, guests and any other persons on the premises.


  1. To maintain a high standard of hygiene by using correct chemicals and equipment provided for the specific task.


  1. To comply with all statutory and legal requirements and Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, licensing and Employment, ensuring that you are fully aware and practice the Hotels policies and procedures in these important areas.


  1. To report and, where possible, take action on incidents, fire loss or damage.


  1. To ensure safe and correct use of all equipment within training limitations and legal constraints.


  1. To attend any meetings and training sessions when required to by the Spa Manager or Management.


  1. To encourage an environment which promotes employee morale and encourages the Team to have pride and commitment in their area of work.


  1. To maintain at all times a good working relationship with your fellow workers and Management.


  1. To be flexible with regard to working hours in order to handle any unexpected requirements.
