Marriage numbers have now declined for three consecutive years, dropping 14.1% from the post-pandemic peak. Some areas are booming. Cork City saw a 21% increase in marriages last year. Wexford grew by over 13%. South Dublin bounced back strongly. Other areas saw sharp declines - some by as much as 35%.
