4 STARS FOR THE MAJESTIC HOTEL, TRAMORE!

May 2014: The MAJESTIC HOTEL, Tramore, is delighted to announce its recent 4 star accreditation from Fáilte Ireland under the Hotel Classification Scheme.  One of only a few hotels in the city and county of Waterford to have achieved the prestigious 4 star rating, the hotel underwent a comprehensive process of inspection and strict criteria to meet high standards of décor, cusine, hospitality and delivery of services.
 
Celebrating 25 years in business, Annette and Danny Devine, owners of the Majestic Hotel, Tramore, said, “we are absolutedly thrilled that the hotel has been awarded the 4 star rating from Fáilte Ireland, which reflects the overall quality of experience and level of service that each and every one of our guests receives.  It is testament to the hotel’s award winning status, committed team and attention to detail which has brought us this far. This would also not have been made possible without the ongoing investment in the hotel and the tremendous amount of hard work, time and effort of our dedicated staff.”
 
The Majestic Hotel has just completed the upgrading and transformation of its 60 bedrooms equipped with all of today’s modern conveniences including complimentary Wi-Fi.  The bright and spacious Garden Room restaurant, which overlooks Tramore Bay and Brownstown Head, has also been recently refurbished and offers the perfect setting for a wedding, function or special celebration. “We are now in the process of extending the garden with a feature gazebo giving us a beautiful outdoor area offering fabulous views over the bay, which will further enhance the Garden Room”, said Annette.
 
According to Mark Whelan, General Manager, the key to the success of the Majestic Hotel is the wonderful staff combined with a top quality product. This is clearly evident in all areas of the hotel, from the supberb cuisine prepared by Head Chef, Adrian Pierce, to our recently upgraded bedrooms, our newly refurbished Garden Room restaurant and our spacious lounge bar and outdoor patio area . We are also extremely grateful to our many valued customers and very appreciative of their continued support, loyalty and business over the years.”
 
In 2013 the hotel was named as a finalist in the Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards with the Garden Room restaurant also receiving the coveted Taste of Ireland award in 2013 and again in 2014. Adrian Pierce, Head Chef, said, “we are extremely pleased to have received this award for 2 consecutive years, which is an endorsement of how passionate we are about food at the Majestic Hotel.”
