The Department of Social Protection (DSP) Employment Services Finglas are hosting a 'Pathways to Work' Employment, Training & Guidance Event which is being held to assist recipients of a DSP Jobseekers payment to re-enter the workforce.
The Event is being held in Erin's Isle GAA Club, Farnham Drive, Finglas.
1000 people from the live register have been invited to attend this event. The majority of these will be on the register for more than a year and will therefore qualify for the Jobsplus Scheme.
Employers qualify for a grant of €7,500 or €10,000 paid monthly in arrears over a two year period when they hire somebody who satisfies the Jobsplus criteria.

The aim of this event is to provide on-site information and guidance regarding the wide range of employment & training/education opportunities that are currently available within the Finglas area.
A number of Local Training and Education providers, Community Employment and other agencies will be in attendance and they will be on hand to advise of options available. Employment Services Officers from this office will be present to give individual guidance if required and a CV clinic offering personal advice will also be available.
You are being invited to take a stand at this event and/or to advertise any vacancies you may have, job vacancies or jobbridge vacancies. Remember, a person finishing up on a nine month jobbridge programme will then qualify for the jobsplus scheme.
If you are not in a position to take a stand perhaps you would forward any vacancies you have on your books so that they may be displayed/advertised on the day.
