Planet are delighted to announce another successful payment solution rollout at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone, part of The iNUA Collection in Ireland. Planet worked closely with partners Oracle Hospitality and POStech Ireland on the recent install to help Radisson make payments easier with a secure, all-in-one digital solution.

The hotel is using Oracle’s Simphony POS for Food & Beverage, which helps reduce waiting times and turns tables faster which is better for both staff efficiency and customer spending.

  • Pay at Bar: A unique offering from Planet and Oracle. Where the till never gets locked, so next order can be added quickly, capable of processing several payments at once.
  • Pay at Table: Reduces waiting times to pay, offers all the features of a workstation on a mobile terminal, recalls open bills from the terminal, offers split bills and tipping functionality – all on one device.

On the front desk, Oracle’s Opera OPI integrated PMS offers guests a seamless check-in and check-out experience, using a fully integrated PCI P2PE solution. This solution also supports securely stored payments via Tokenisation, aswell as Currency Conversion - meaning guests have the choice to pay in their preferred currency.

These fully integrated payment solutions all come with Planet Acquiring, which offers a range of payment methods so guests and diners can choose how they want to pay.
