Since premises fully reopened in March 2022 SMRI have been reviewing clients' IMRO charges from during and after the pandemic. Whilst IMRO did apply credits for the periods that premises were closed in line with government lockdowns, many hotels and guesthouses are entitled to further credits due to having opened to varying degrees and to changes in their music usage.

In order for IMRO to be able to apply the appropriate credits to your account, they need to be made aware of your actual music use between March 2020 and March 2022.

IMRO, who have been very accommodating with regard to credits during Covid, have now advised that no further credits relating to the Covid period will be applied to accounts after 31st December 2023.

SMRI have been able to secure further credits for almost every hotel whose music usage we have reviewed for the period March 2020 to March 2022 - so we would urge you to contact us as soon as possible. Our fee is based on 50% of any further credits we can secure - so if no credits are secured then no fee applies.

Contact Sean today to check whether your property has any unclaimed IMRO credits from during Covid in advance of the 31st December 2023 deadline.
