For years, IHF members have demonstrated incredible environmental leadership and now the Repak Resource Awards (formerly the Pakman Awards) offer you the opportunity to showcase your environmental and circular projects and initiatives.

With 12 categories to enter, from Business Recycling Champion to Waste Prevention, you’ll be sure to find a category that showcases how your business is optimising waste management, implementing innovative resource saving technologies or leading the way in recycling and circularity. What's New and Exciting for 2025?

Repak has introduced two new categories that align with the evolving landscape of environmental action and offer unique opportunities for IHF members to excel:

• Circular Community Award: Are you engaging with your local community to source locally and reduce carbon footprint, or have you instigated projects that reduce waste and promote reuse, or inspired sustainable living through local action? This category is designed to celebrate those powerful partnerships and initiatives that extend beyond your hotel's walls.
• Circular Design Award: Have you implemented innovative design in products/ guest amenities you provide, or operational systems that prioritise resource efficiency and waste minimisation? This award celebrates that circularity and resource efficiency.

The closing date for entries is 29 August 2025, with finalists being shortlisted in early October. All shortlisted entries will be invited to attend the national environmental Awards on 23 October 2025 at The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, where category winners and the Overall Repak Resource Award winner will be announced.
