Isabelle Mooney from the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Westmeath outlined a suite of supports for small businesses, including:

• The Green for Business Programme: free consultancy to assess energy use.
• The Energy Efficiency Grant: up to €10,000 in funding for energy-saving equipment.
• Case studies showed real savings in retail and hospitality sectors, with grants covering up to 75% of project costs.

Kathleen Moore of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) detailed national supports for SMEs:

• Energy Audit Vouchers, Rapid Approval Grants, and Solar PV incentives.
• Tailored schemes like EXEED, SSRH, and Community Energy Grants.
• A strong focus on training, with free access to SEAI’s Energy Academy and Energy Management Workshops.
